BSU CityLab is located on the campus of Bridgewater State University . BSU CityLab acknowledges the strong support of the University's administration for its continuing success as a biotechnology learning laboratory for pre-college students and teachers.
Many campus groups and individuals made possible the establishment of BSU CityLab, in 1996, as a satellite of the original CityLab at the Boston University School of Medicine.
Originally housed within the Department of Biological Sciences, BSU CityLab has enjoyed many successful years promoting science partnership activities for pre-service and in-service teachers and their students. In May of 2006, the administration of BSU CityLab was moved to the newly established BSU Center for the Advancement of Science Exploration (CASE). In announcing the new academic Center, BSU President Dana Mohler-Faria stated the mission of CASE: to promote and improve science interest and literacy for students in grades 5-12, pre-service and in-service teachers, and members of the college community and the community at large.

As CASE continues to establish its presence on campus, BSU CityLab remains its cornerstone program and continues working to improve outcomes and increase science enthusiasm among diverse students in Southeastern MA.
