Professional Development

BSU CityLab provides professional development programs to strengthen the knowledge base and skills of in-service and pre-service teachers. The programs for teachers include:

• Graduate level courses designed to provide content knowledge in biotechnology and biomedicine
• In-service workshops to introduce teachers to BSU CityLab’s hands-on modules; teachers thus trained are qualified to borrow CityLab's lending laboratories to use in their classrooms.
• Presentations and teacher workshops offered by BSU CityLab staff at conferences and professional meetings
