Time: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with buffet dinner provided

Preview of Conference Highlights
- 2 Workshop Sessions showcasing the educational outreach opportunities offered through CASE for educators, students, and community members. Our programs include BSU CityLab, the Watershed Access Lab, EarthView, the BSU Observatory, the Mathematics and Computer Science Collaborative at BSU (MACS), BSU GreenLab, and Games Teachers Play. Come and tryout some of the hands-on experiences offered through CASE and learn about our programs.
- Plenary Session discussing the Next Generation Science Standards
- Keynote Address by Kenneth Miller, PhD, Professor of Biology, Royce Family Professor for Teaching Excellence, Department of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, & Biochemistry, Brown University. Dr. Miller is a cell biologist and the author of some of the most widely used high school biology textbooks in America. He is the author of Finding Darwin’s God: A Scientist’s Search for Common Ground Between God and Evolution, an analysis of the key issues that seem to divide science and religion, as well as the author of Only A Theory: Evolution and the Battle for America’s Soul.
