CityLab at Bridgewater State College is an offshoot of the original CityLab at the Boston University School of Medicine.

We have offered traditional CityLab activities including training of teachers in our curriculum and visits to our lab for high school and middle school classes for a number of years.

In October 2000, a group of faculty from the Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Chemical Sciences at Bridgewater State were awarded a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to greatly expand CityLab activities here in Bridgewater.

This grant, that is part of NIH's Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) program, will help to provide services to teachers, entire classrooms of students and individual students.

We will use this website to keep the public informed of our activities.

We look forward to working with and meeting many of you in the near future.
