Zach and Adam win Travel Award from the Biophysical Society to present in Lima, Peru (June 2019)

Congratulations to Adam and Zach for winning the Travel Award from the Biophysical Society to present their research at the Thematic Meeting titled “ Revisiting the Central Dogma of Molecular Biology at the Single Molecule Level” held July 18-21, in Lima Peru.

All five graduates from the lab head out to greater destinations (June 2019)

Congratulations to Brian, Will, Ben, Franky and Amber, the Class of 2019 heading to Draper Labs, MKS Instruments, Tuft University, IPG Photonics and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. We wish them all the very best.

Brian and Zach win the Best Research Presentation Award at StARS (April 2019)

Brian and Zach won the best research presentation award given by the Physics Department annually for their presentation at the Students Arts & Research Symposium.

Zach is awarded NSF funded Research Assistantship (May 2019)

Zach will be heading to Northeastern University to continue his research studying anticancer drug Doxorubicin and will be funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation. Congratulations, Zach.

Lab presents at the 2019 Student Arts and Research Symposium - StARS (April 2019)

Adam, Ben, Brian, Zach, Noah and Josh present their research at the annual Students Arts and Research Symposium held on the 29th of April 2018.

Noah and Josh awarded highly competitive ATP summer grants (April 2019)

Noah’s proposal to study anticancer drug Nogalamycin with optical tweezers and Josh’s interdisciplinary collaborative project proposal to purify human polymerase Kappa and study its interaction with DNA using optical tweezers have been awarded summer ATP grants. 

Adam, Brian and Zach present at the 63rd Biophysical Society Meeting (March 2019)

Adam, Brian and Zach present their research  at the National Biophysical Society Meeting held March 2-6, in Baltimore, MD. 

Adam wins the Best Research Presentation Award at the NCRC (January 2019)

Adam was not only selected to present his research at the prestigious National Collegiate Research Conference, which only selects around 200 Undergraduate Researchers throughout the Nation, he won the Best Presentation for the Physical Sciences.

Adam wins Travel Award from Biophysical Society to present at the National Meeting (Dec 2018)

Congratulations to Adam for winning the Travel Award from the Biophysical Society to present his research at the 63rd Annual Biophysical Society meeting to be held at Baltimore.

Brian, Zach and Thaya featured at the WBZ Boston News (Nov 2018)

The lab was featured for replicating the Nobel Prize winning cutting edge research at the undergraduate level.
