2014 Meeting Theme: College Readiness and Quantitative Literacy

NECQL XVII will again focus on quantitative literacy (QL) with an emphasis, this year, on readiness for college level QL courses. We welcome presenters and attendees across the range of QL content.

This year the conference will have an emphasis on college readiness and QL. As quantitative literacy programs continue to expand in higher education, many incoming students arrive having being prepared with, tested on, and placed by content-based assessment. At this meeting, we'll share strategies for introducing a diverse population of students to the skills needed to succeed in their first college-level quantitative literacy course.
