New Technologies in the Visual Arts 2006 Day-by-day
Syllabus |
Unless
otherwise noted, the Digital Group of 12 participants will meet with
Prof. Gary Stanton in Room 202 of the Art Center.
This lab is equipped with 16 Macintosh computers (G3) and 2
PC’s, 3 scanners, and two color laser printers.
The software that participants will be using is Adobe Photoshop 7
and all computers are connected to the Internet. The
Printmaking Group of 12 participants will meet with Prof. Joan Hausrath
in Room 104 of the Art Center. The
print studio is equipped with 2 etching presses and a Canon Image Runner
photocopier. A full-time
tech assistant will be available during the meeting sessions and
participants will have access to the lab and studio in the evenings and
on weekends to continue their work independently. |
