Self Rating: 4
Reflection: As directed by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 and supported by the Mission and Vision Statement of the Milton Public Schools, I regularly refer to national, state, and local data sources such as MCAS scores, graduation rates, college acceptance rates, discipline, and most recently, to create and implement a new Tardy Policy at Milton High School. This policy is aimed at improving attendance rates and ultimately student achievement
Evidence: Tardy Policy Documentation 2004-2005, updates to policy, student attendance data from 2003-2004 vs. student attendance data from 2004-2005
Direction: Improve the effectiveness of professional development in implementing the use of data. Provide opportunities for faculty discussion as it relates to data dissemination.
