Dr. Victoria L. Bacon

Associate Professor

 

I am a licensed clinical psychologist trained to work with children, families, and athletes.   My education includes a doctorate in counseling from Northeastern University and a master’s degree in counseling from Anna Maria College.  Past employment history encompasses counseling in mental health, schools, and at the college level.  I have extensive undergraduate and graduate teaching experience with a focus teaching psychological development, psychopathology, group, and family therapy.  Currently, my research interests involves qualitative research with female athletes across the lifespan and addictive behavior in college athletes.  I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the Massachusetts Psychological Association (Disaster Response Network), on the National Register and the National Registry of Group Psychotherapy.
