Technology Leadership

 

Course Description:

Procedures for the establishment or continued development of a K-12 Instructional Technology Program will be the focus of this course.Candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of the technology leader: vision, strategic planning, budget development, equity, purchasing, staff development, and program evaluation.

 

Outcomes:

Instructional technology leadership involves not only instructional technology, but also budget, community, organizations and governance.Thus, we will examine how school leaders deal with changes and challenges through cases and Bowmanís Four Frames.We will also look into Need Assessment then develop a Strategic Planning Plan.Based on this strategic plan, you will write up a full grant proposal for your budget plan.
