I am a 19 year old college student at Bridgewater State. I am double majoring in Early Childhood Education and Communications. I have a large family and family comes first in my life. I love teaching and being around little children. I have a ton of experience teaching all different age groups. I started in 6th grade watching the after school children at St Casimir School in Brockton. The students ranged from kindergarten to 8th grade. On any given day I had around 20 children. I continued teaching there until the end of my second year of high school. During my 3rd year of high school I began teaching CCD. I taught the 10th grade Confirmation class at Our Lady of the Rosary in Stoughton MA. Then during my senior year of high school I taught 6th grade CCD at St. Rita's Church in Marion MA. It was during this time that we moved down to our summer home in Mattapoisett MA and I started attending Old Rochester Regional High School in Mattapoisett. At ORR, I was introduced to the Tri-Town Early Childhood Program. I began an in school internship working in the preschool as a teacher. I am presently there teaching the after school. This year I am also teaching the 5th grade CCD at St. Rita's Church in Marion. For the past 5 summers I have been a nanny for two families. My interests other then teaching and education are swimming, jet skiing and horsebackriding. |
