On weekdays during the fall and spring semesters, I usually check my email two or three times each day.
During the summer session(s) I teach, I usually check email once or twice each day the class meets.
I may check my email once during the weekend. A response may not be sent until Monday.
If the content of your email message is urgent/time sensitive, URGENT should be the first word of the Subject. The Subject line should contain a phrase relevant to the content of the email. If the Subject line is blank, or contains something generic, like Hi, I may ignore it or possibly delete it without reading it. This is especially true if you are not using a BSC email account.
Please, always include a brief, descriptive Subject in all your emails.
