 *Chemdraw Ultra:

Bridgewater State College students are able to download and freely license copies of Chemdraw Ultra for one-year. Chemdraw Ultra is a suite of drawing, modeling and database programs specifically designed for chemistry. Of particular use is the drawing program which allows for professional looking structures to be incorporated in to papers and presentations.

 *Chime:

Chime is a browser plugin that allows for the viewing of molecular structure files or .PDB files. Often these models are embedded within web pages. The Chime plug-in allows these files to be viewed within the browser. The molecules can then be rotated, manipulated and viewed in different ways. The plug-in is FREE and only requires a brief registration with the MDL site.

 *Forwarding E-mail :

All BSC students are provided with a computer account. Faculty will use these accounts to communicate with their students. It is important to (A) either check your bridgewater e-mail on a daily basis or (B) have your bridgewater email forwarded to a second account that you check on a regular basis. If not, you will find that your BSC e-mail box will quickly fill and you will be unable to receive e-mail from your professors.

 *OWL Online Tutoring and Assignments for CH 141/142:

OWL is an online tutoring and assignment website used in CH 141/142. Students in CH 141/142 are required to purchase an access code in order to log onto OWL. The access code is bundled with the Masterton Textbook at the BSC Bookstore. Students who purchase textbooks else where will be required to purchase a separate access code at the Bookstore (or coming soon, online)
