2005: Massachusetts Department of Education Grant, 2005 Content Institute Program: $33,230 to support summer content institute on renewable energy for grade 6-9 teachers. Co-written with Dr. Jeff Williams, Physics, BSC.

2005: Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, Renewable Energy Trust, Grant for teacher workshops: $18,505 to support spring workshops on clean energy for a sustainable environment for grade 3-8 teachers. Co-written with Dr. Jeff Williams, Physics, BSC.

2004: Center for Advancement of Research and Teaching Faculty Librarian Research Grant: $8000.0 to support instrumentation development for snow research, wind tunnel experimentation and fieldwork, Spring 2004-Winter 2004-05.

2004: Massachusetts Department of Education Grant, 2004 Content Institute Program: $39,700 to support a summer content institute on Energy and the Environment for grades 6-9.  Co-written with Dr. Jeff Williams, Physics, Bridgewater State College.

2003: Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, Renewable Energy Trust, DOE Grant: $30,300 to support a summer content institute on renewable energy for grade 6-9 teachers. Co-written with Dr. Jeff Williams, Physics, Bridgewater State College.

2003: Continuing Scholarship Funds: $568.0 for purchase of pressure transducer and LabJack data acquisition unit for BSC Wind Tunnel.

2002: Continuing Education Scholarship: $2000.0 + additional funds $1300.0. These funds support purchase of HOBO data loggers for meteorological measurements and materials to construct a wind tunnel for the departments of Earth Sciences and Geography, Aviation Science, and Physics.

2001: Center for Advancement of Research and Teaching Summer Grant: $3000 for developing a computer based teaching module and writing the Authorware Developer’s Guide; Bridgewater State College.

1998: Graduate Student Alumni Research Award: $1500 paying travel, food and lodging expenses for field work at the University of Michigan Biological Station, Pellston, MI.

1998: University Small Grant, The Ohio State University: $1000 supported purchase of materials and instruments for fabrication of micrometeorological measurement system for dissertation research.

 

1996: University Small Grant, The Ohio State University: $1000 supported purchase of materials and instruments for construction of snow density, temperature and accumulation sampling systems.
