From the Daily Princetonian: Libraries, the Princeton campus's unknown repository of sexiness

Although my own campus refuses to recognize librarians for the educators we are, other colleges are more enlightened. Endicott College awarded a librarian the annual Excellence in Teaching Award. Librarians at Bridgewater State University are ineligible for our equivalent. The Show-Me State is another place where librarians are not recognized as educators, demonstrated by this story from the Webster-Kirkwood Times. Fortunately, Magna Publications feels differently. My article on teaching was selected as a finalist. The Library Instruction Round Table division of ALA also recognized my work as a teacher when my article was selected as one of the Top Twenty Instructional Articles for 2008!
