This train-the-trainer session will review the major points that adults need to convey to students about cyberbullying and risky online behaviors.  Trainers will review how to train their colleagues and will be given materials for their own use and for distribution to their colleagues.  Session will be taught by Dr. Elizabeth Englander.

This conference will focus on reducing the bullying that is often associated with youth sports.  Bob Bigelow, an internationally renowned athletic, advocate of youth sports, and author, will speak about the evolution in youth sports and how different approaches to youth sports can either encourage or discourage bullying and similar behavior problems in children.  This one-day conference includes lunch and all materials, including PDPs.

This year MARC received a grant from the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts to develop educational and research materials focusing on the issue of girls and cyberbullying.  This conference will present some of the latest knowledge on this topic from our cutting-edge research and methods for working with girls, including a description and demonstration of MARC's new program "Girl-CyberTalk".  Speakers: Dr. Elizabeth Englander and others.
