Some Descendants of Isham WALKER Sr.

First Generation

1. Isham WALKER Sr. was born in 1740 in South Carolina (?). He lived in Glynn Co, Georgia at some point. Isham WALKER Sr. and Mary CARTER were married. Mary CARTER (daughter of Jacob CARTER and Sarah) died in 1818 in Wayne Co., Georgia. Isham WALKER Sr. and Mary CARTER had the following children:

• +2 i. Littleberry WALKER (born in 1767).
• +3 ii Isham WALKER Jr. (born on 4 Apr 1769 ).

Second Generation

2. Littleberry WALKER (Isham-1) was born in 1767 in Colleton County , SC. He died in 1853 in Columbia Co., Georgia ( Florida ?). He lived in Camden Co GA and Wayne Co GA. His parents came to Georgia during the Revolution and lived a few years in Liberty County , then movig to Glynn County in the 1790's. Littleberry and his wife, Mary McClain, had 14 children...In the time of the 1805 Georgia land lottery, Littleberry Walker and his father, Isham Walker Sr., and his brothers, Isham Walker Jr., and Ansel Walker, and his first cousin, Richard Walker, were all living in Glynn County and were registrants in that lottery. Soon after, he moved to Camden County,...then to Wayne County in the portion that is now Brantley County....On May 15, 18 50, in Columbia County, Florida, Mr. Walker made his declaration to obatin a Revolutionary War pension...deposed that in 1783 he served one year as a private...However, he stated that he had no documentary proof of his service, and that he knew of no one whose testimony he couldprocure in support of his claim. The application was finally rejected for want of proof.

Littleberry WALKER and Elizabeth MCCLAIN were married. Elizabeth MCCLAIN (JOHNS?) was born about 1770. She died about 1835 in Ware County , Georgia . Littleberry WALKER and Elizabeth MCCLAIN (JOHNS?) had the following children:

• 6 iii. Mary WALKER.
• 7 iv. Keziah WALKER.
• 8 v. Isham WALKER was born 179-.
• 9 vi. Drusilla WALKER was born in 1803.
• 10 vii. Elias WALKER was born in 1805.
• 11 viii. Jeremiah WALKER was born in 1807.
• 12 ix. Ansel WALKER was born in 1808.
• 13 x. Elizabeth WALKER was born in 1810.
• 14 xi. David WALKER was born in 1812.
• 15 xii. Andrew WALKER was born in 1814.
• 16 xiii. Elisha WALKER was born in 1816.
• 17 xiv. Westberry WALKER was born in 1818.
  

3. Isham WALKER Jr. (Isham-1) was born on 4 Apr 1769. Isham WALKER Jr. and Civility JONES were married on 11 Oct 1797. Civility JONES was born in 1777. She died in 1832.

Third Generation

4. Littleberry WALKER Jr. (Littleberry-2, Isham-1) was born in 1802 in Glynn Co., Georgia. He died in 1868. Littleberry WALKER Jr. and Nancy NEWBERN were married. Nancy NEWBERN was born in 1803.
