Final Project: Image Identification

Summary: you will build surveillance technology to identify people in photos kinda like Facebook and Google

Unpacking some details:

Remember when Boston beat Vancouver a few years ago for the Stanley cup and a bunch of Vancouver fans rioted? Remember how Vancouver citizens used cloud based vision to identify and help prosecute the now sober rioters? You're gonna do something like that

for the most part you are on your own for this one. I've got a few requirements but you figure out how you want to make it work, will you offload the work to a cloud based service? will you use a machine learning library?

• Requirements:
• have some easy/intuitive way of providing labeled training data to the app that you make
• use either video or images in a widely available format
• make the labeling something that doesn't require crazy work. If I have to use photoshop to make the algorithm work with my data that is a problem.
• have some easy/intuitive way of uploading final test data (unlabeled) to your app.
• display the apps label for the faces in the image again in an easy and intuitive manner.

have fun, this needs to be in go or rust, but there is lots of flexibility here otherwise.
