The lectures so far in pdf format are now available for study for the midterm.
For those who would like a program to connect (with graphical windows)
to csdev01 from home. I've heard good things about Xming. You can get a
copy from here
If you don't have a copy of puTTY the program to make the actual connection, you can get one from here
Penn State University actually has a page to help students setup and install Xming
on their windows machines. It seems pretty straight forward. Make sure
you follow their directions for using puTTY including selecting the
<connections><ssh><x11> configuration page when
running puTTY and checking the Enable X11 forwarding option before
selcting the session page from the top of the left hand scroll bar and
typing in the server name to connect.Class
Career Services has asked that I point out two of their upcoming events:
Work 'N' Serve Expo
Wednesday, October 17, 2007
Workplace Protocol Dinner
Thursday, October 11, 2007
The
first is a great place to get a head start on internships which are
useful and important. The second is very handy for interviewing and
requires you to register in advance.
- Welcome to the cs101 web page for Fall 2007. This is the spot that I
will post class updates that need to happen between lectures. Be
especially sure to check here if class is ever canceled.
