In the early 1990s, Nancy Yeatts discovered endangered bald eagles nesting near her home on Assawomsett Pond in Lakeville, Massachusetts. This virtual field trip allows you to learn about what has attracted the eagles to Assawompsett, what challenges they face there, and what is being done to protect them -- without disturbing the eagles!
Learn about the natural history of eagles, especially American Bald Eagles, and the reasons they became endangered.
