Title: What is Arithmetic Dynamics?
Abstract

Arithmetic dynamics is a relatively young branch of mathematics that sits at the intersection of dynamical systems and number theory. In this talk, I will introduce you to this field and its history, describe the Uniform Boundedness Conjecture and other central questions in arithmetic dynamics that motivate current research, and present some open problems that could serve as undergraduate research projects. This presentation will be accessible to undergraduate students.
