Description of Sample
The sample population consisted of all intermediate-grade students,
who have been diagnosed as having a language learning disability.
Therefore, the students must demonstrate deficits in word
recognition, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, and
language as measured by formal testing. In addition, they
received speech-language services. However, the students were not
diagnosed with a concomitant intellectual impairment.
