Project Rubric

You will be graded on a scale of 0 to 19, where 16 is an A and 14 is a B. Your grade will be assigned according to the criterion below. If you are submitting a paper rather than a poster, replace the word "poster" with "paper".

Grade Application
10 It is clear from the poster what the manipulative is and how it can be used in a mathematics class. Its strengths and weaknesses with respect to that application are fully and clearly presented.
8 It is clear from the poster what the manipulative is. Its use, strengths and limitations are described on the poster.
4 The manipulative is described on the poster but it's not clear how it's used in a classroom.
0 It's not clear what manipulative is being discussed.

Grade Presentation
5 The poster is easy to read, attractive and draws your attention to the key ideas.
4 The poster is well laid out and easy to read.
2 The poster seems disorganized, or is difficult to read.
0 There may be some good ideas here, but I can't make them out.

Grade Accuracy
4 Spelling, grammar and calculations are all correct.
2 There are multiple spelling, grammar or calculation errors on the poster.
0 Spelling, grammar or calculation errors interfere with understanding the poster.
