I once read that a person's life can be measured less by their actions performed during their lifetimes than by the wake they leave behind like a shooting star and that everyone leaves a trail either modest or brilliant on future generations.
Dr. Miller by his example, character, personality, and good deeds has won the admiration of his family, associates, and students. His influence will persist because of what he gave to everyone else and his words and actions will continue to inspire.
I contend that Dr. Miller would not be a shooting star but rather a comet......whose trail can be measured in light years.
