I feel very lucky to have experienced Dr. Miller's love of Geography during Spring semester 2002.This great love was obvious in every class he taught. He approached the subject with humor and enthusiasm. As his illness progressed he taught every class to its fullest. He encouraged the class on their hometown papers and always had time before and after class to give advice or help when ever it was needed. His slide shows on the Amish country brought a personal touch to his class. His wit made serious subjects like China's one child policy and their education on the subject approachable and of course humorous.I will remember Dr. Miller fondly and I am thankful I was able to experience his great love of teaching and Geography.
