I can't believe such a great person is gone. When I look back at my time at BSC and the all the geography classes I took, Dr. Miller always is the first to come to mind. He was so nice and always put his students first and foremost. A good example is the trip to Chicago for the AAG annual meeting in 1995. He did all that he could to get a grant to pay for the trip and even put up some of his own money so all the students could make the trip. He was so friendly that he seemed like a friend, not a typical professor and as so many know, he always took the time to smile and say hello. It is such a great idea to dedicate a globe to him. I look forward in seeing the globe and seeing his name on it.
