GUIDELINES FOR SERVICE LEARNING ACTIVITY

1) Contact someone that you do not know very well or you do not know at all;

(he/she cannot be a member of your family, but could be a member of your church or someone you know from your place of work);

2) He/she must be a native speaker of the language you are studying (Spanish or Portuguese);

3) Help this person out in some concrete way; tell him/her it's for your language class;

4) Ask the person to teach you something simple in his/her language.
