In 1999 Mrs. Wenson participated in the Davis Educational Foundation's Grant to develop Computer Mediated materials. The grant enabled the recipients: Dr.Susan Holton, Dr.William Singleton, David Wilson and I, to develop online materials for CC130-the basic course in Human Communication offered by the Communication and Theater Arts Department. We created a web site for the basic course that integrated resources for all segments of the course, provided access to the syllabus, readings, and additional resources for speeches and group work. In addition, Course Info sections were prepared to develop the use of technology in the basic course. As a result of our work we were selected for the Spotlight program at the National Communication Association's annual meeting to be held in Seattle,WA this November.
