There are many skills K-12 children will need to be successful in the 21st century. This site highlights some key areas that warrant special consideration.

Online Safety Online Safety
Before students can learn, they have to feel safe. Students in the 21st century need to understand how to protect themselves online.  Identity protection, privacy awareness, long term ramifications, and what constitutes legal/illegal behavior need to be discussed and understood. Online bullying, what a student can and should do when concerned.

Content Creation Students as content creators
Understanding attribution and copyright expectations & norms. Why does it matter in academics? Is it important in other fields? Examples? Discussion.

Student Research Student research skills
Critical thinking skills -  evaluating trustworthiness of sources. What is a primary source? What is an example of an online source that is not accurate?

Collaboration Collaboration
Cross divisional teams. Teacher as facilitator. Navigating personalities. Understanding cultural differences.
