PRESENTER INFORMATION
Information for All
Presenters:
If you would like to
have us make photocopies of your presentation (paper
or poster), please email your file to Jenna
Stephenson (jstephenson@bridgew.edu)
by July 6, 2009. We will make 30 copies and
have them available when you arrive at the
conference. We are unable to accommodate requests
for photocopies after this time, including at the
conference.
Paper Presentations:
-
Conference
sessions vary in length from 75 to 105 minutes.
Roughly speaking, each presenter (or paper
"slot," if there are multiple presenters on a
single paper) will have 20 minutes to present
and 5-10 minutes for questions. Please check
the conference schedule to confirm the length of
your session and how many papers are scheduled
in each session.
-
A time-keeper
will be present in each conference session.
-
All conference
rooms will have computers, LDC projectors, and a
large overhead screen. If you have needs in
addition to this, please indicate as such on
your registration form or contact Jenna
Stephenson (jstephenson@bridgew.edu).
-
If you are using
Power Point to make your presentation (as most
of you will be), we recommend that you bring
your Power Point file on a flash drive, memory
stick, CD, and that you email it to yourself as
a backup.
-
If you are
making your own copies, we recommend that you
bring roughly 30 copies of your presentation.
Poster
Presentations:
-
Poster
presentations will take place on Friday morning,
July 17. This session will run for 75 minutes
from 8:00am to 9:15am. We recommend that you
arrive at the conference to set up your poster
by 7:45am that morning.
-
We will provide
cork bulletin boards that are 4' x 6' for poster
presentations. We will have push pins for
presenters who need them. If you have your
poster on a tri-fold, this is also acceptable.
There will be room/space to place the posters on
a table in this session.
-
If you are
making your own copies, we recommend that you
bring roughly 30 copies of your presentation.
