19982000 Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater, MA. Re-wrote course descriptions and syllabi for the four required courses in the graphic design concentration. Co-designed two learning community cross-disciplinary courses (focus upon information design).
1997 Daemen College, Amherst, NY. Designed and proposed new Graphic Visual Communication curriculum with a cross-disciplinary emphasis.
19941996 Daemen College. Re-wrote and implemented all courses in an 8-course graphic design specialization within a BFA curriculum. Designed two new courses to add to the existing curriculum.

ADDITIONAL RESEARCH
19951997 Study of the need for changing methodology in the field of visual communication design to produce visuals for non-linear applications, such as design for the world wide web.
19941999 Personal artwork exploring the juxtaposition of images and words to convey altered perceptions and to provoke thought based upon the pairing of untimely/unexpected image/text combinations. The deliberate usage of digital image processing and hand-applied out-of-context coloring with the image/text combinations is intended to challenge culturallY-induced interpretations.

A study of the relationship between Mission Statement and perceived image at not-for-profit photography art organizations. Research for this project was conducted at State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY, CEPA Gallery, Buffalo, NY, and through interviews with Executive Directors at twelve photography art organizations in the United States and Canada.

The Effect of Mood-Content of Black-and-White Pictures Upon Color Choice. A study designed to determine whether associations between color and mood are affected by the mood content of black-and-white pictures, and whether the age of the subjects affects these associations. Second- and Third- graders responses were compared to college students responses to black-and-white photographs depicting various moods. Research for this project was conducted at Daemen College, Marian Library, Amherst, NY and the results werepublished in The Journal of Genetic Psychology.
