Reflection: As a teacher and coach, I have used Excel in a variety of ways. This would include simple flow charts, tracking sheets, invoice order forms for an athlete's clothing order, and statistical information.
Artifact 1: I have attached a segment of my school's overall budget for the Social Studies department for the upcoming school year. I have constructed the spreadsheet to include an overall view of the total amount requested, as well as a breakdown of the specific areas for what the money is being allocated for.
Directions: As an administrator, Excel is a very useful tool in organizing information that could include budget figures, but also an accurate idea of inventories and tracking information over time. Being able to access this information in a timely manner would allow me to make decisions based on the most current information.
