Reflection: I have grown more comfortable as I have been able to utilize Power-Point software more in my lessons. I have this to be especially useful when introducing our long term research project to 7th grade students. I feel that using this Power-Point presentation has helped to more effectively introduce this project to students.
Artifact 1: When this project is introduced, I use this presentation to show students the various parts of this project. Since this project was a change from what had been done in the past, I choose to use Power-Point to introduce this new project to the other grade level teachers. Seeing how successful this was, I developed the presentation that is linked below to be used to introduce the project to students.
Exploring the World Through Fact and Fiction Project
Directions: As an administrator, a Power-Point presentation would allow me to present a wide range of information to the teaching staff. These presentations could include information regarding the start of the school year, a change in school policy, school budget factors, and analysis of standardized test results. By modeling a successful presentation could help to show other teachers that this is something that they could implement in their classrooms to help enhance their students' educational experiences.
