Faculty serving the campus community

Dr. Susan A Holton is the Coordinator of the Bridgewater Institute.

Dr. Nancy Street is the co-coordinator of the Center for the Advancement of Research and Teaching (CART).

Professor Susan Miskelly is the director of our award winning Forensics Society. The Forensics Socieyt, consisting of majors from other departments as well as communication, has won awards from virtually every tournament in which they competed. Our students stand on the awards podium along with students from larger, well-funded colleges; often they win higher awards than those students.

Dr. Nancy Owens is the advisor to WBIM, the college radio station. Dr. Thomas Mickey is the advisor to the Public Relations Student Association and was the founding advisor to McAdoc, the student organization devoted to heightening awareness of drug issues.

Dr. Susan Holton was the founding advisor to the national communication honor society, Lambda Pi Eta, and she and Dr. Jabbar Al-Obaidi advised that group last year. Dr. Nancy Street is now advising the honor society.
