Please join us for the 5th annual Earth Day Trail Mix 5K
All are welcome to run (or walk) to help raise money for the Clean Water for Cambodia program, administered by Rotary International. This event is organized by the BSU Biology Club and Biochemistry Club and sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research and the Center for Sustainability.
WHEN: Earth Day,
Friday, 22 April 2011, at 5:00 PM
WHERE: The Great Hill Trails at Bridgewater State College
(meet at the far end of Tower Lot for Race Start)
The trails are very well groomed and offer a challenging course of diverse elevations. Nevertheless, be aware that some spots might be muddy! A map of the trails is available at: http://www.bsubears.com/Campus_Recreation/GREAT_HILLS_TRAILS/GH_Trail_Map-810.pdf.
HOW TO REGISTER: Print out the registration form here and return it to the Department of Biological Sciences (Room 226, Conant Science Building) or sign up on-site on the day of the race. Registration fees will be $10 in advance or $12 on race day.
SPONSORING A RUNNER: For those who cannot participate in the race personally, but would like to sponsor a runner, we have a sponsorship form. By collecting sponsorships, a single runner can greatly increase the impact of participation in the race.
All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt (while supplies last), and top finishers will earn modest prizes (such as gift cards to local businesses).
