Research Interests:
Analytical and environmental chemistry, with emphasis on the analysis of heavy metal pollutants in the water column and bottom sediment of Taunton River tributaries using atomic absorption spectroscopy. Another area of interest is arsenic contamination of soil due to the use of pressure-treated wood containing chromated copper arsenate (CCA) for residential applications, such as play structures, decks, picnic tables, and residential fencing.
