ABOUT US
History
Massachusetts Health Promotion Associates, Inc. was incorporated in October 1995 as a charitable noon profit organization under section 501(c ) 3 of the Internal Revenue Service. It received tax exempt status following the fulfillment of the necessary requirements as determined by the Internal Revenue Service and now operates as a public charity
The mission of the organization is to develop and implement programs directed to health promotion health protection and disease prevention to diverse population groups at local, state, national, and internationals settings thereby contributing to the achievement of the “Healthy People” objective.
Our goal is to help people to help themselves to be healthy. This goal is attained through series of measurable objectives which provide increased knowledge and skills in individual and group empowerment. Programs are informative, self motivating, and health enhancing. The outcome is high level wellness and holistic well being.
Activities
Activities are selected on the basis of sound knowledge and scientific information. They are selected to address the unmeet needs and interest of diverse target population. They are designed to meet the desired objectives. They are challenging, interesting , motivating and implemented by professionally trained, experienced, knowledgeable, and caring staff.
The quality and success of our program are enhanced through our ability to network and collaborate with other organizations at local, state, national and international settings. This effort has resulted in the conservation of human and technical resources.
