( Mobile Clinical Intervention Team)

Overview

Mobile Clinical Intervention Team (M-CIT) provides Mental Health Services to Adolescents/ Teens and Young Adults  in order to reduce emotional symptoms,  improve behavior, raise achievement level, enhance coping skills,  and increase self esteem. M-CIT provides assessment, diagnosis,  case management, treatment and referral. M-CIT focuses on identification, prevention and intervention strategies in violence reduction  and management of mental disorders.

 Goals and Objectives

The major component of M-CIT include:

• Early screening,
• Accessibility of mental health services and
• Referral services
• Address alcohol, other drugs, and violence  prevention
• Management of mental disorders through therapy and psychopharmacology protocol

• Brief and solution focused therapy
• Alcohol, other drugs, and violence prevention intervention/education
• Psycho-educational and prevention  group

Mobile Clinical Intervention Staff

M-CIT staff is comprised of

• Board Certified Psychiatrist
• MA Licensed Mental Health Clinician
• Certified  Health Education Specialist
