- -Integrated 2 new faculty; supported 2 junior faculty, bringing 1 to tenure; completed 1 promotion to associate.

- -Support and leadership for ongoing curriculum development in all programs
- -Implemented facilities and equipment for departmental video studios and production centers
- -Advised on and coordinated the development and occupation of new office and classroom spaces for the faculty and programs in the department.

Assumed all responsibilities of dean, with leadership on numerous matters:
- -Brought Strategic Planning to conclusion at the department and School level.
- -Extensive School-wide faculty hiring (30 positions in 2 years).

- -Pursuit of initiatives in centers for research and service (Institute for Regional Development).

Two faculty member share coordination, each released from half teaching load.

INSTRUCTION
Courselist of developed instruction:
Seminar In Contemporary American Theatre
-A senior-level capstone requirement, focusing on the current state of the art in all its variety and a review of the historical and intellectual developments that have shaped contemporary American theatre. The course also develops skills and background for transition to graduate work, working as an artist, and working while practicing the art.
Scenography
-A sophomore level introduction to the technical artists and crafts of the theatre. Includes an introduction to scenic and lighting design, basic drafting, production organizations, and the technology of the stage.
Scene Design and Design Techniques
-Scenic design concepts, research, and working with the script. Design techniques includes skills and practice in communicating design concepts, sketching, rendering, drafting, model-building.
Stage Lighting
A focused introduction to lighting design, principles and theory, with hands-on exercises in a lighting lab.
Play Production
An applied introduction to theatre art, through guided experience in all the principle crafts.
Theatre Appreciation
An introduction to theatre art for the audience of theatre art.
Also taught: Stage Costuming, Stage Make-up, Theatre History, Play Analysis for Production.
