Objectives:

This course is a senior capstone course. It is intended to lead you:


Materials:

No text is required. Readings will be provided.

You will be required to subscribe to American Theatre magazine, the content of which will be discussed in class, and you must demonstrate membership in at least one national or regional organization for theatre artists or scholars.

You will be expected to find any materials needed for your presentations and submissions on your own. It is expected that you will attend theatrical performances during the term, and regularly read journalistic reports of current arts events and activities.

Notes:

Attendance is considered mandatory. Absences on days of student presentations are counted double. Tardiness is counted as absent after attendance is recorded. Please do not eat in class.
