Telling the Story
Describe how you’ll open the story, what you’ll go to next, and how you’ll end your story. Tell us visually how this story will unfold. Tell us whom we’ll be meeting in the story and why they’re important.
Potential Characters
List the characters in order of anticipated appearance in your story. Who are the people you want to interview or what kinds of people do you want to interview? Tell what relevance they add to the story.
Elements
This section is for pictures in the video story or interactive elements like fact boxes and pullout quotes for the Web story. This section is very important. How do you plan to cover your story outside of getting interviews? There must be pictures.
Additional Background
Useful statistics and information someone approving the story might find interesting.
